Raw materials are put into the machine from its material hopper on the top, vibrated by vibratiory feeder and sliding along material chute into the zone of observation in sorting chamber through sensors and background plate. It identifies discolored, moldy, shriveled, damaged nuts and foreign impurities through high-speed cameras and intelligent AI algorithms, automatically separating qualified high-quality nuts from defective ones to improve nut purity and commercial value.

The nut color sorter adopts high-precision CCD optical imaging system and deep learning intelligent identification technology. It is widely applied in the processing of almond, walnut, cashew, pistachio, hazelnut, macadamia, peanut, pine nut and other nut kernels.
During operation, materials evenly slide through the sorting chute. High-definition cameras capture real-time color, texture and surface defect information of each nut particle. The built-in industrial control system quickly compares the captured data with standard color templates, instantly sends ejection signals to high-speed solenoid valves. The valves blow out bad nuts, moldy particles, black spots, worm-eaten kernels, stones, plastic fragments and other foreign matters via precise air jets, while intact good nuts fall into the finished product bin.
Equipped with dust removal and anti-jam structure, the machine adapts to oily, high-fiber nut raw materials. It features low air consumption, high sorting accuracy, low carry-over rate and easy operation. Touch screen human-machine interface supports one-click parameter adjustment for different nuts, greatly reducing labor cost and improving production efficiency for nut processing factories.
